Terms of Use
Last updated: 1 May 2026
1. Information only — not advice
Everything on PaySlipCheck is provided for general information. It is not financial, tax or legal advice. You should not rely on the figures shown when making a financial decision; check with HMRC or a qualified professional first.
2. Best efforts on accuracy
We work hard to keep the calculators in line with the published HMRC and Gov.uk figures, but we don't guarantee they're free of errors or always up to date. Tax rules change, and edge cases (tax codes, benefits in kind, marriage allowance, share schemes) aren't all modelled. If you find a mistake, please let us know.
3. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site — including financial losses, missed deadlines, miscalculated tax bills, or anything else.
4. Acceptable use
You may use the calculators freely for personal and commercial purposes. You may link to any page. You may not scrape the site at scale, attempt to overload our servers, embed our content in a competing product, or pass it off as your own.
5. Intellectual property
The site's design, code and editorial content are © PaySlipCheck. The HMRC tax bands and figures themselves are public information.
6. Third-party links and ads
We may link to other sites and display ads via Google AdSense. We don't endorse third-party content and aren't responsible for it.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
